About Us

Marjani School began its journey in 2012 under the name Bright Beginnings: a small, passionate early childhood centre with a big dream: to nurture confident, curious learners who would grow into bold thinkers and compassionate citizens.
What started as a modest daycare has grown, year after year, into a thriving learning community built on excellence, innovation, and heart. We have expanded our programmes, enriched our learning experiences, and walked hand in hand with hundreds of families who trust us with their children’s foundational years.

Why Marjani?
Marjani is a Swahili word meaning coral; a natural treasure found in abundance along our Kenyan coastline. Coral reefs are resilient, vibrant ecosystems that nurture life, protect shores, and grow stronger over time. This powerful imagery reflects who we are and what we stand for:

• Resilience : We nurture learners who can adapt, stand tall, and thrive in a changing world.
• Growth : Like coral, our school has grown layer by layer, year after year, into something strong and beautiful.
• Community : Coral reefs are thriving ecosystems; so is Marjani. We believe education is most powerful when rooted in connection and belonging.

As our vision expanded beyond early childhood, we felt our name should reflect who we are becoming, not just where we started. Marjani School is a celebration of our roots and a bold declaration of our future. The rebrand honours our coastal heritage, embraces our growth into a full primary and junior school, and reaffirms our commitment to raising learners who THINK BIG and lead with heart.
We remain the same trusted school families have loved since 2012, only now, with a new name, greater vision, and deeper impact.
